The Kingsley Amateur Football Club was formed in 1994 by an adventurous steering committee. The club was based at Robinson Reserve before becoming established at it’s current home ground at Kingsley Reserve. After being launched in the Sunday Competition and competing in two Grand Finals the club moved to Saturday’s WAAFL. The WA Amateurs are a strong competition and Kingsley entered at E Grade level with League Reserves and Colts teams.
In the twelve successful seasons since then the club has had six WAAFL Fairest & Best winners and several runners up to add to the four Fairest & Best winners in the Sunday comp.. The Club also has had a string of Finals and Grand Final appearances sporting FIVE Premiership Flags following two outstanding wins in 2008.
This success has promoted the club to B Grade for 2009.
The original club has grown in numbers and support to field four senior and two colts sides. We have regular well supported social events and other club functions.
Ours is a fantastic club built on good leadership, past and present , with a family and community atmosphere. We field players from the age of 16 through to the old fellas. With this club’s experienced administration we will continue to cater for the needs of all players, coaches, sponsors, volunteers and old and new supporters to build in strength to take on our next challenge of B Grade in 2009 and beyond.
