It was an important game agains Kingsway on August 17 as Kingsley needed to secure a win to assure another year in the A grade competition. A fresh rivalry between the clubs had brewed after the Cats lost after the siren on home turf in our last meeting.
The first quarter was tough as the Cats seemed to not be able to find their feet. A quarter time score of 27 to 6 had spectators hoping for a turn around. As the rest of the game ensued the Cats did just that, with Lewie and Slav kicking 3 each, Kinglsey had started to rally.
In a tight 4th quarter the Cats proved too good as they locked away the win and a spot in the A grade competition for 2020. Final score 9.9.63 - 9.13.67.
The 3rd consecutive win for the Cats puts us in good stead heading into next season! GO CATS!
